For now just some short installation instructions an basic info



To Install:

1. Please delete any previous versions of Zelda 2 - Remake, I'm still moving and renaming resources, this will help keep the data directories clean.

2. Download and extract Zelda2-Remake.zip anywhere you'd like

3. Requires installed Python and Pygame libraries, I'm working in Python 2.6 and pygame 1.9.1 for Python 2.6, all in 32 bit mode.   As of this moment it is untested in Python 3.x or any other versions.

About the game:

I'm working on recreating the classic Zelda 2 The Adventure of Link for the NES in python.  My plan is to improve my Python skills as I complete this project, once I have successfully created the project I have plans to create my own similar 2d Platformer, as well as release a Harder/adapted version of the Zelda 2 game.

There are certainly many bugs and problems in the current version of the game, I'm also open to suggestions for improvement.

I plan to add further release notes in the future detailing specifics on what has been added, and planned updates.

Also I know the download is fairly large for what I've got, I'm hoping to get the data finished fairly soon so I don't have to continually upload the same .oggs and .gifs, etc, at that point the download size for updated code should be quite small.
