The Cambridge Z88, the iPad of the 80's, was launched in September 1987 at
the PCW computer show in London.

The company behind it was Cambridge Computer, a spring-off company of
Sinclair Research, founded by Clive Sinclair.

The Cambridge Computer Z88 is an A4-size, lightweight, portable Z80-based
computer with a built-in combined word processing/spreadsheet/database
application called PipeDream, along with several other applications and
utilities, such as a Z80-version of the BBC BASIC programming language.

The Z88 had something of a cult following, and is still used by enthusiasts
today. The Z88 Development project aims to continue supporting the built-in
operating system "OZ" and to develop new embedded applications, including
tools for software development and file transfer on todays desktop systems
such as Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.

All software here is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL v2 license.
