Y! Messenger Gmail Notifier Plugin
What it does:
This hack is a Yahoo Msgr plugin to get notifications about new messages in your Gmail Inbox. It takes as input your gmail username and password and optionally a frequency field in seconds. Your gmail inbox is monitored every 'frequency' seconds. By default, it monitors every 30 seconds. It does not store your username and password anywhere on the disk. It resides in the memory of yahoo messenger.
How to install it:
1. Download the attached test.yplugin.zip file.
2. Unzip it to the following folder: {messenger installation directory}/Plugin/Test/ContentTab/test.yplugin You might have to overwrite the test.plugin folder with this one since only one test plugin can exist at one time (same plugin id's).
3. To invoke the plug-in from the Y! Msgr menu, select "Actions|Load a Plugin".
