xmltask provides the facility for automatically editing XML files as part of an Ant build. Unlike the standard filter task provided with Ant, it is XML-sensitive, but doesn't require you to define XSLTs.

  • There seems to be an issue with the insert tag of xmltask. The insert tag does not close the file after it reads input from a file. This is preventing my ant script from deleting the file after xmltask has completed processing. Hope to see a fix for this issue. How can i submit a bug request?
