This are developmental versions of the XL Toolbox add-in, hence 'beta'.

Expect that not all things work in these versions.

Concurrent installations of the old versions and the NG series

Unlike the previously released alpha versions, the beta versions do not coexist with older versions of the XL Toolbox. Technically they are compatible with one another, but since the beta versions of the Next Generation incorporate the legacy add-in, there is no need to have a separate install of versions up to 6.60.

Legacy versions will be deactivated by the Next Generation versions. You will still need to uninstall them from your system using Add/Remove Software though.

System requirements

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or newer, 32-bit or 64-bit
  • Excel 2007 or newer, 32-bit or 64-bit
  • During installation, .NET 4.0 runtime (50 MiB) and/or VSTO runtime files (38 MiB) may be downloaded and installed, if not yet present on the system.
