This program needs a server that anyone can put up on any IP. There will be a friends list that you can privately send messages to your friends. This program has a very slick UI so i imagine that you will love the way it looks and the customization's that you can do, it makes your eyes feel like a wonderland when you are typing to your friends or to other people on the server. A small multiplayer videogame will be added to the chat program so that you can play a game with the people that you are connected and chatting with.
