To see the XCAST capabilities download 

The INET-OverSim-20101019-XCAST6.zip file contains INET Framework sources in which XCAST capabilities have
been added to the IPv6 stack.

To run, download the file and unzip, then install it as a project within OMNeT++ work space.

Ones installed, navigate into the examples/ipv6/qxcast6 directory. The omnetpp.ini file is already configured
and provides different network sizes for testing XCAST6. 

For convenience and faster demonstration of the XCAST capabilities, when running the example, just choose the 
"Basic Network" option.
