Xbpad Version 1.00_alpha, July 29, 2014 ================================================================== History: ------- V1.00 - July 2014: First public release Installation for Windows XP/Vista/Win7: -------------------------------------- 1. Download the latest version of the Xbpad Software. You can download package with bundled JRE inside or without. If you go for version without JRE u must have JRE installed on your computer. 2. Install the Xbox360 controller driver distributed with the hardware. English version Xbox350_Eng.exe and German version Xbox360_Deu.exe also contained in Supplements distribution (subdirectory 'driver'). For Windows 7 you don't need to install the drivers manually, the are downloaded via Internet and installed as soon as you plug the Xbox controller to the USB port. 3. (Only for Windows XP): Install the DirectX Runtime: Execute dxwebsetup.exe contained the the Supplements distribution (subdirectory 'DirectX). 4. Install the VisualC Runtime: Execute vcredist_x86.exe (for 32-bit Windows) or vredist_x64 (for 64-bit Windows) in the Supplements distribution (subdirectory 'VisualC'). Can I stop / resume Xbpad of controlling the mouse and keyboard? Yes you can, press and hold for 5 seconds start and back buttons to stop or resume input handling. 2. How Can I assign more keyboard keys to controller? Assigning a standard keyboard keys is done by pressing the left mouse button, similarly, we can also assign additional keys by pressing the right mouse button. 3. What does -1 assigned to the controller means? Means that no action has been assigned to the controller. 4. Can I unbind controller button to perform no action again? Yes you can, just press right mouse button on particular button, access "Button options" tab and click "Unbind". 5. After restarting my application presets are not saved? Always remember to save your changes by pressing "Preset" button. 6. Sometimes the application itself shut down? Currently looking for the cause of the problem, the temporary solution may be to disable UAC. 7. When you expect missing features to be implemented? I assume final version after six mouths after first realase.
