    The Lobo project is a very well designed system and a great foundation for building a browser. Unfortunately the development of this has halted after 2009. We are working on another fork of this project called gngr. The core idea of gngr is to build a secure and privacy focused browser and use Java's sandboxing features to harden the run-time.
