The WSJT project currently includes five programs designed for amateur radio communication using state of the art digital techniques. Typical applications include meteor scatter, EME ("moonbounce"), and QRP communication at HF.

Summary Program Descriptions:

WSJT: Modes JTMS, FSK441, ISCAT, JT6M, JT65, JT4, Echo, CW. Optimized for meteor scanner, ionospheric scatter, and EME at VHF/UHF/Microwaves.

WSJT-X: Modes JT65, JT9. Primarily for use at HF.
MAP65: For EME an VHF and higher frequencies. Implements a panoramic, polarization-matching receiver for JT65.

WSPR: Probe potential propagation paths using low-power transmissions.

WSPR-X: Experimental version of WSPR, including the slow mode WSPR-15.

All Joe's modes are just great and make QRP with small antennas possible.

Love, Love, LOVE this release! It has all the things I wondered would ever come. I use it for WSPR-2, and the scheduler is fantastic. Obviously a lot of thought went in to it. Further, the two pass decoding is amazing. I see two stations on the same frequency commonly, and even had one station 20dB stronger than another just 1 Hz away, with both successfully decoded. The rig control was a breeze, and setup was simple. Hats off to the developers!

WSJT-X v1.6 Very happy to see the addition of WSPR-2 mode to the WSJT-X software. The new decoder works extremely well with WSPR reception. The only problem I have encountered so far is the CAT control for SDR rigs,( I operate a Flex 1500/ OS is Windows 7),even though I have a green indication for Cat status, it will not band-hop without giving an "hamlib error". Hopefully, the team will address this issue in time. Thanks for a great software package John KC4RSN
