  • This is very cool but it lacks the most important piece that I think is needed, the ability to specify a new password for an existing user. IIS only lets you reset the user password but it auto-generates the new password rather than letting me specify a password for the account so I was hoping this would help fill that gap but it doesn't. Another problem is when I tried to create a new user I get error, "Could not load file or assembly 'MySql.Data, Version=6.3.6.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c5687fc88969c44d' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified" where it's trying to load a MySql.Data assembly although it does successfully create the account. I am also able to use this to edit and delete users successfully without any errors. Otherwise it's definitely a useful tool to put on a server where you don't have Visual Studio installed.
  • The now ancient admin tool provided with the .NET framework doesn't play nicely with the latest .NET 4.6 and has been made difficult to launch since VS2012 due to changes in the local webserver. Whilst this isn't a finished product, it does the job and great if you want to get away from these complications and make your own admin tool.
  • a simple & comprehensive solution. this saved me a lot of time!!!
