You scan in an your work and open the image into this and it will perform an OCR.
then you just select the text and it will do the equation and format it with 'question = answer' in another window.
(seperated by lines for each answer)
it recognises 'x' as * and O as 0's (sometimes that happens), and removes spaces with what you select etc..

you can save your answers, or the input OCR'd text to a file. (and open them of course)

it also includes a print function (obvious reasons).
using this program has helped me improve my productivity enormously.
one-button click to select the equations and printing sure beats typing in a shitload of shit in a calculator and writing shit down.

i've included a sample image i scanned from a very low-budget scanner from some of my colledge "work" called 'maths1.bmp' for you to try.
thats probably the worsed condition you would have with it.. and it still does a pretty good job :)
