WixEdit is an editor for XML source code of the Windows Installer XML (WiX) toolset. WixEdit lets you create MSI and MSM setup packages with the WiX Toolset.   • It would be much more fun if there was a more convenient way to add new files quickly... drop them into a directory could auto-create a corresponding component, the guid of a component means another click (but above the current position), add new components in a huge project means scroll up and find the directory node, then click it right, then click into the id node, enter the id, then click the guid button... each file has to be corrected if the file source is set in the directory node with an additional click to the warning, that the source could not be found, not to mention the KeyPath of each file, where the combobox is not initialized with yes... It is a great job to write this tool, but, you know, there is no work flow when creating a new msi fresh from the start.
