The latest release for cmdtools and menuapps can still be dated back to year 2007. Please look in the "cmdtools" folder for the latest release that doesn't mention "beta" or "dev" in its file name. For command-line start menu support, you also need files from the "menuapps" folder.

The latest release for winrosh (AKA rosh.exe) is 1.10.0003. It supports Windows 10 (including 1607 (Anniversary Update) and higher), 8/8.1, 7, Vista, XP (also 2000 and NT).

Note: for Windows 10 1607 (10.0.14393) or higher, please remember to use winrosh version 1.10.0003 or higher, because it works around a Windows bug or behavioral change in console cursor position that causes old versions of winrosh to crash. Copy the WinVerRp.exe from the "tools" subdirectory to the directory of rosh.exe before you use winrosh.

(For Windows 8 or higher, please remember to use winrosh version 1.10 or higher, because it works around a Windows bug that prevents older versions of winrosh to run properly with DBCS character inputs.)

The newest development cmdtools package can be found under the "cmdtools" folder with "beta" or "dev" in its file name. The beta version is more stable than the dev version, but it is still not for production use. I plan to release the next version in year 2017.
