With Wiimote Control you can use your Wiimote as a remote control. The Wiimote Control program shows an icon in the "notification area" or "system tray". If you click on the icon, a menu is shown, from which you can connect to a Wiimote. The program also tries to connect to a Wiimote when the program is started. Homepage: http://purl.org/net/wiimotecontrol Wiimote button mapping: +-----------+ | | Arrow Up = Nothing. | | | Arrow Down = Nothing. | -- -- | Arrow Right = Nothing. | | | Arrow Left = Nothing. | | | A | A = Play / Pause. | | | - H + | - (Minus) = Volume down. | | H (Home) = Mute volume. | | + (Plus) = Volume up. | | | 1 | 1 = Previous track. | 2 | 2 = Next track. | | +-----------+ The buttons behave as if they are keyboard multimedia keys. Notes: To *connect* the Wiimote, press both its 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously, then click on the tray icon, and choose 'Connect'. To *disconnect* the Wiimote, hold its power button for about a second. Also, to preserve the Wiimote's power, you can power it off when not using it (for example when quitting the Wiimote Control program). It's a known limitation that the Wiimote Control program doesn't do this automatically when quitting the program.
