Language Version : Visual Basic


This is a Visual Basic version of Wattson Explorer.  It has been developed using a Beta Version of Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 and requires the .NET V4 libraries to run (nothing is simple is it!).  You can download this version of Visual studio from http://www.microsoft.com/express/vb/Default.aspx.

The source code is on Source Forge in the Wattson subversion repository.

This code is a bit more advanced than the Python version and includes asynchronous execution of the Wattson commands, so that the user interface doesn't hang every time a command is issued.  It also includes a separate power meter dialog which updates every 3 seconds with the current power.  I tried to add a graph to this dialog as well, but couldn't get the chart object to work properly, so that will have to wait for the next version.
