Warfield version prealpha0021 By Chad Serrant = Welcome to my turn based strategy game available on Windows and Mac. It's loosely based on Macduff's assault against Macbeth's castle. And by "loosely" I mean the second mission goes off the rails. What's going on with William Shakespeare's public domain characters? How To Start = Windows == Unzip warfieldPrealphaLatestWindows.zip . Run the .exe file found there. The _Data folder should be in the same directory as the .exe file. Mac == Unzip warfieldPrealphaLatestMac.zip . Run the application. New Features == - Attacks deal extra damage or extra healing based on the unit's Body, Mind, or Spirit. - Minor Start Screen and UI improvements. - A lot of behind the scenes improvements that took 5 months to complete! Thanks for being patient! How to Start == - Click on Start Game. - If you've played a previous version, please click the Erase button. They are incompatible with this version. - Click on the file you want to start your campaign in. - Enjoy! When you want to continue the campaign, you can continue from the start of the turn you left off. You can also choose to Restart the Mission and start from turn 1. How to Play == You control the Red Army, and your mission is to defeat the Blue Army. Click on a Red unit, then click on any of the blue squares to move there. Then choose an attack, a target and confirm the attack! If you want to quit, click on the More options button, then click the Return to Main Menu button. Your progress is automatically saved. After the mission == If you win, you'll see the after mission report. Spend Training XP to improve your units, or Save your game. Then click the lower right button for the next mission. On the right side of the screen, you will see all of the units in your army. The top button, labelled "Campaign", will bring you to the after mission report. Click on any unit's name on the right to see a general summary for the unit. Under the unit's name on the right, you should see options to ready the character's story (About) or you can spend Training XP (XP) to improve the unit. The entire army uses the same XP pool, so ration it carefully.
