== Project W-O-F (Walk-On-the-Fire) ==

Project WOF (Walk On the Fire) was initiated to make a robust solution to evaluate different Web Application Firewalls(WAF) 
without putting or enabling it in-line mode of any WAF. This code is tested with the mod_Security, naxsi and also with other
commercial WAF. This engine is also sufficient enough to handle phase-3 (REQUEST_HEADERS) and phase-4 (RESPONSE_BODY). For
more details, one can take a look of CHANGE logs.


== Installation Requirements ==

* Java 1.6 or Above
* Jpcap 0.7
* libpcap ver.0.9.4 or higher


== Files ==

* WOF-v1-1-jre-1-6 : This file in compatible with JDK/JRE 1.6
* WOF-v1-1-jre-1-7 : This file in compatible with JDK/JRE 1.7/1.8

== Usage ==

* To run WOF, one can execute following command:
  "java -jar WOF.jar"
* Mod_Security rule file can be stored with any "*.conf" extension under "$WOF_ROOT/rules" directory
* All required files to process "@pmFromFile" directive should be there under "$WOF_ROOT/rules" directory
* Log location will be "$WOF_ROOT/rules" directory
