VPNDialer can be used to build IPSec-Tunnels using the Windows IPSec-Stack build into Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Besides this, the VPNDialer handles needed RAS or L2TP- Tunnels which may be neccessary. Who should use it ? The main goal of VPNDialer is, that it is usable by a normal User, like Sales or Insurance-Brokers without special knowledge of either cryptography or security. Only the Configuration should by done by Administrators. New Versions and Contact New Versions are available at http://vpndialer.sourceforge.net/. There is also a mailing-list and a support-forum available Requirements The Binary runs on Windows 2000 or Windows XP, but you need some additional files which are supplied by Mircrosoft, but not included in the standard setup. For Windows 2000 you need the commands ipsecpol.exe and ipsecmon.exe, both from the "Windows 2000 Ressource Kit". For Windows XP you need the command ipseccmd.exe from the "Windows Support Tools for Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows XP 64-Bit Edition". They are on the Windows XP Product CD. The Source uses a free library from DUNDAS Software named "RAS Dialup class (CUT_RAS)" you can download it from www.dundas.com. The library is free to be build into other Products but I'm not shure if I would be allowed to redistribute it. The Development-Environment is Visual C++ 6.0 with SP3. Installation If you downloaded the Binary, just install the required commands and start the Installer. Compilation Unpack the ZIP-File Install the Dundas-Library and copy the files to the VPNDialer-Source so that you get the following Tree: C:\...\VPNDIALER ¦ ConfigDialog.cpp ¦ ConfigDialog.h ¦ DebugDialog.cpp ¦ DebugDialog.h ¦ License.txt ¦ RASHelper.cpp ¦ RASHelper.h ¦ ReadMe.txt ¦ resource.h ¦ SelectInterfaceDialog.cpp ¦ SelectInterfaceDialog.h ¦ StdAfx.cpp ¦ StdAfx.h ¦ VPNConfig.cpp ¦ VPNConfig.h ¦ VPNDialer-History.txt ¦ VPNDialer.aps ¦ VPNDialer.clw ¦ VPNDialer.cpp ¦ VPNDialer.dsp ¦ VPNDialer.dsw ¦ VPNDialer.h ¦ VPNDialer.ncb ¦ VPNDialer.opt ¦ VPNDialer.plg ¦ VPNDialer.rc ¦ VPNDialer.sln ¦ VPNDialer.suo ¦ VPNDialerDlg.cpp ¦ VPNDialerDlg.h ¦ VPNSession.cpp ¦ VPNSession.h ¦ +---dundas ¦ ¦ RASDial.txt ¦ ¦ ut30lic.txt ¦ ¦ ¦ +---Include ¦ ¦ uterr.h ¦ ¦ UTExtErr.h ¦ ¦ UT_RAS.h ¦ ¦ ¦ +---Source ¦ UT_RAS.cpp ¦ +---Release ¦ VPNDialer.exe ¦ +---res icon_del.ico icon_flo.ico icon_new.ico logo_evidian.bmp logo_evidian256.bmp VPNDialer.ico VPNDialer.rc2
