VNQ Files

VNQ - Secure message application.

Requires JRE 11 

Steps to install. 

Windows
1) save vnq11.zip to c:\vnq11.zip
2) extract all to c:\vnq11

MAC
1) save vnq11.zip to your application folder
2) right click and extract

Steps to run.

1)   goto vnq11 folder
2)   java -jar vnq.jar
2.a) run the VNQ script
2.b) run the VNQ application (you can put it in the dock)

3) <File> <Setup Mailbox> to setup-up mail box. firstName.lastName for example.
4) Follow instructions from <Help>

NOTES:
- messages are sent with SFTP using TLS security for message and SSL for email. 
- The only messages saved on disk are text file in "inbox" folder. 
- Email is outbound only, messages are inbound/outbound for other vnq
  users only.
- Tools/Passkey is for session only. Password returns to DEFAULT on exit. 
  Use this when you and a buddy are sharing a common passkey, but don't
  wantt to use the defaut. But, you do need to set it at the begining of each
  session. 

ISSUES:
- Will not work behind a firewall.
- Email from windows sometimes wont work because of Defender, I think.
