  • It doesn't fill full screen in 100% (bars on top and bottom) when the ratio is 16:10. Settings only allow you to select Video and nothing else.. However, it works even in win11
  • Now that I figured it out again, It works really well. Thankful for a way to add my own videos to use as a screensaver. Thanks to my fellow geeksters!
  • I actually was considering writing my own screensaver but this one does almost everything I wanted it to do, and then some. I appreciate that the code is here. I made minor modifications to fit what I wanted and it works great. Thanks!
  • Works extremely well on my two Windows 10 Tower H-Drives, it's a great solution to making a video screensaver absolutely brilliant and just what I was looking for, Thankyou
  • Works on windows10, thanks a lot!
  • Awesome man! Really impressive! Thanx! It lets you use any video as screen saver! In looping video back to start, it freezes for ½ sec, but it's awesome!
  • Works a treat under Windows 10. Really simple and familiar to use. Nice one.
  • Works great but Is there a way make it work on duel monitors?
  • Brilliant!
  • Excellent! Just what I was looking for.
  • This worked great, once I got it working. I found that it didnt work when placed in the default location for screensavers in Windows 10 (C:\Windows\System32). I got an error that the application failed to run. I thought I needed to enable/update .NET Framework, but that didnt work either. I ended up placing the screensaver file in the following location: C:\Windows\SysWOW64 I had to manually select the screensaver via regedit, but that might be because it is on a work computer. Worked like a charm thereafter. * * * * * * 19-JUNE-2018 EDIT: Okay, so I lied, it did have an issue in that it did not turn off despite my display timeout and sleep settings (video screensaver would play indefinitely). Workaround: Start>type "settings">Power and Sleep tab>additional power settings>change plan settings>change advanced power settings>multimedia settings>when sharing media>allow the computer to sleep I found that the default setting "prevent idling to sleep" treats the screensaver like a media player and prevents the screen from turning off. Once changed, the regular display power-down and sleep functions work fine. The caveat to that is now.... your screen will turn off if you are watching ANY video...
  • The project would be very useful for automated self service machine like we see at ATM, but need more feature to use multiple video and repeated (I have tried to play multiple video using playlist but it does not repeat). Password protected may also be great when they installed on public area PC. Thank You
  • A great start and exactly what I was looking for. The screensaver plays a video and reacts as expected when a key or mouse movement is detected. The only improvement would be the ability to add multiple videos, and have it randomly display one of them. No advertising or bloat included, just the bare essentials of what you need and want.
