  • I downloaded this expecting I could create a multi-boot flash drive that would have, in particular, Knoppix for its preloaded formatting and other formatting tools, and Kubuntu to allow me to continue thru Virtual Machine to run my many Windows programs thus eliminate any need to upgrade that OS to keep internet access, when any upgrade would be incompatible with the majority of my software. Since exFat is the best format for iso files, I so formatted a flash drive then tried to install a copy of Ventoy I had already downloaded to the same. I got multiple error messages about a missing drive that took considerable effort to stop. Once I stopped the error messages, I opened the flash drive in Explorer, only to discover the drive was being reported as having an unknown capacity and unformatted/UNFORMATTABLE! Two of my other computers reported the same results, with one of those machines having W10 as its OS, my reason for buying it was for it to be the first of my computers I would convert to Kubuntu with minimal risk since there was NOTHING on the machine I want to keep. A 4th computer did not even SEE the drive. That computer is a KFocus with Kubuntu 24.04 on it I had expected the opposite with the KFocus, as I have yet to encounter a Linux flavor that will not more quickly see drives, if not, files, that Microsoft Windows cannot, and for that reason, have frequently used Linux to repair damaged Windows (.chk) files, usually needing only to open the file in an editor, save the same, then change the file extension from .chk to whatever the original format may have been. I would not recommend this to anyone based upon my experiences
  • The best USB boot utility! For 20 years of work I have never met a more necessary program!

  • Incredible tech! I was even able to boot into it from my encrypted external SSD drive from my laptop which has secure boot enabled. Effortlessly lets you boot and run basically anything, in any format, from anywhere... while keeping all your tools on a single external SSD all at once.
  • Does exactly what you need it to do.
  • Ventoy has become an important tool in my debugging toolkit, as it allows me to store my memtest86+, Windows, linux and MacOS recovery images in one place, and not have to pick just one.
  • Great way to choose a Linux distro. All you need to do is copy the Linux iso to the USB drive, boot the USB, and Ventoy will load it. No need to constantly reformat and reload the USB.
  • "Вентой - мгновенный доступ и надежность в одном. Загрузочное USB-решение поразило скоростью и эффективностью. Отличный выбор для удобства и безопасности."
  • I used this product before ever even coming to source forge. After trying a multi boot stick using linux , YUMI . I was left researching the best method to do this. I now have several - multi boot , plug - in - ready , boot drives , with multiple OS's , I can readily and easily boo t into if needed. This is ABSOLUTELY , POSITIVELY THE BEST MULTIBOOT TOOL IN THE WORLD at the moment in my opinion , ty.
  • Out of all the multiboot apps this is by far the easiest. I used to use another app, it had its day but with he advent of nearly every PC booting EFI exclusively it actually relied on Ventoy and another app aGFM to make EFI booting work. So I started over and used Ventoy only. It is very simple to setup, quick and easy to update. You can also make a few changes on it using the supplied VentoyPlugson.exe app to allow you to sort your ISO files in ANY folder structure you want. It boots quickly too. It boots every Linux, backup recovery and Windows install ISO I have put on it.
  • I use this tool all the time now...I used to use unetbootin and universal USB installer or YUMI for multiple OSs on a disk or Rufus or etcher all those tools are great but none of them are as handy as ventoy...with ventoy I can creat a USB drive with a massive partition for many ISOs(Im a system technician so I have needs beyond those of your average user lol) I need windows,Linux,MacOS, and some times freedos to be able to effectively service the wide veriaty of my clientele, be that Enterprise or consumer systems and this tool allows me to do that efficiently and with little messing around...I currently have a 256gb usb3.2 SSD setup with a massive ISOs partition that holds all the iso I could ever need and still have a large section on the drive for a persistent Area I use this for a full Manjaro xfce install that I can use to go grab new ISOs and drop them into the ventoy partition for later use and to also act as my shared storage that is accessable and writeable from any of the ISOs live environments...in all my years of trying all of these "pendrive" type tools NONE of them come close to the veriaty of capabilities that ventoy has, it supports every archetecture iv tryed it on be that 64bit, 32bit, uefi, legacy, name it it works. Iv even had some success with arm based systems albeit kind of in conveluted ways as many of these devices need to be imaged from another environment but ventoy allows me to do that fairly easily...I can't express enough how invaluable this tool has been for me and my little business...I highly recommend it and if anyone else is as well served by this tool as I am I just ask that you try to help support the creator either by spreading awareness of this software or by direct donations or both, I can't imagine this kind of tool is easy to creat and maintain and we want, nay need more like it😁

  • Easy to use, no problems.
  • Among several other similar projects I know, this is the easiest to use. Format the pen drive, copy your ISOs (including windows install) and boot. The only very small inconvenience is that the ISO file name cannot contain special characters and you need to rename them. I am very grateful to developers that are capable of creating software like this and kind enough to share it for free.
  • I think this is the easiest multi boot system I have seen so far. It simply works
  • The definitive, ultimate usb multiboot tool! I've been trying several solutions but this is the best: easy, lightweight and effective. When I repair PCs I need some bootable ISOs and I often had to use more than one: now, thanks to Ventoy, I have about 20 ISOs in my 32Gb USB stick. Cool! It supports secure boot, can be created with GPT can be updated without data loss and supports WinPE too. Perfect! :-) Thank you for your job!
