IMPORTANT HINT: 

There is a bug since v0.8.5 within the POWER module. Therefore you cannot poweroff/on, reboot etc
in this version. A bugfix is already available in subversion and will be included in the next release.

Because in v0.8.5 heavy changes are done there can be other problems as well so if you encounter a
problem tell me and try if v0.8.4 works for you..

Requirements
---------------

Because vEMan is based on VMware and other tools you need to ensure that you have the following installed:

	1) VMware Perl Toolkit (tested with v5.0u1) http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vcli/
	2) The VMware ovftool (ATTENTION: v2.1.0 doesn't work! Use v2.0 or try any version higher than v2.1.0)

Besides the VMware requirements you need to have some standard Linux tools installed to get vEMan running:

	- nc (netcat)
	- yad. yad is a fork of zenity (Homepage: http://code.google.com/p/yad/ - DEB packages available ;o) )
	- some vncviewer like tightvncviewer or similar
	- openssl
	- bash ;-)
	- grep ;-)

Variables
----------------

Please read the INSTALL file before starting vEMan.
You can find a variables file included in this package which you should modify according to your installation.
If the file is missing vEMan will create an example file for you.
