!! IMPORTANT HINT !!
----------------------
vEMan v0.8.0 contains very heavy code changes which are needed to make new features possible. Therefore
this version could contain more bugs than e.g. v0.7.1 (but all my test were all VERY positive).
If vEMan v0.8.0 is not working for you please try v0.7.1 and let me know..

In v0.8.0 you need to have 'openssl' as a new requirement installed and if you upgrade it is important
that you have read the UPGRADE_to-v0.8.0 guide carefully!

If you encounter any problems it would be nice to give me a feedback in sourceforge or on my homepage.

Thanks

Requirements
---------------

Because vEMan is based on VMware and other tools you need to ensure that you have the following installed:

	1) VMware Perl Toolkit (tested with v4.1) http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vcli/
	2) The VMware ovftool (ATTENTION: v2.1.0 doesn't work! Use v2.0 or try any version higher than v2.1.0)

Besides the VMware requirements you need to have some Linux tools installed to get vEMan running:

	- nc (netcat)
	- yad. yad is a fork of zenity (Homepage: http://code.google.com/p/yad/ - DEB packages available ;o) )
	- some vncviewer like tightvncviewer or similar
	- openssl (since v0.8.0)

Variables
----------------

Please read the INSTALL file before starting vEMan.
You can find a variables file included in this package which you should modify according to your installation.
If the file is missing vEMan will create an example file for you.

HELP
---------------

If you struggle somewhere you can get community help at the vEMan project page on sourceforge.net or at the vEMan Homepage (http://vEMan.nethna.de)
