Highlights

• Redesigned trust and permissions system — The permissions model has been overhauled with a new v3 Trust Rules engine, replacing older v1/v2 rules. Users now get a cleaner set of presets (Conservative, Relaxed, Autonomous), LLM-generated rule suggestions with an "Allow & Create Rule" button, directory-scope support for rules, and a fully redesigned Trust Rules management UI.
• Coding Agents (ACP) UI — A new Coding Agents panel is available on both macOS and iOS, showing live session status, timelines, and actions for spawned coding agent sessions. Users can tap into running sessions, steer agents mid-task with a new acp_steer tool, and view or clear session history directly from the app.
• Improved memory recall — The recall system has been replaced with an agentic, multi-source search that pulls from conversation history, the knowledge graph, workspace files, and the personal knowledge base simultaneously. Recall is now more accurate for topic pivots and cross-scope queries, with better budget management and privacy guardrails.
• Gemini 3 model support and catalog improvements — Gemini 3 models are now available in the model catalog with correct pricing, thought signature capture, and tool-call metadata. The default OpenAI model has also been updated to GPT-5.5, and OpenAI reasoning effort can now be explicitly disabled or set to an extra-high tier.
• Expanded CLI and browser extension capabilities — The CLI gains new commands including assistant skills inspect, assistant trust management, assistant webhooks registration and listing, vellum env set/get/clear, vellum exec --verbose, and SSH/exec support for managed instances. The Chrome extension has been reworked with a proper onboarding flow, SSE-based event transport, and direct gateway pairing replacing the legacy native messaging host.
