Section 1
-=-=-=-=-

* Latency test to an IP Address or website. This can be set by the user.
* Update frequency of the latency test.
* Current tower the UTD is using (The actual tower name).
* The signal strength of a tower you are currently connected to.
* The update frequency of tower field.
* The ability to create a log file of all the information iConnect gathers.

Section 2
-=-=-=-=-

* Still want to add the speed test
* Need more tower names!

Section 3
-=-=-=-=-

* The graph is a bit poked at the moment. Working on it.

Section 4
-=-=-=-=-

* I don't know if this would work on a UTC. If someone is willing to lend me a UTC, or can check if the ip trick provided by GRES works on a UTC. I can add support for it. I noticed a number for people on MyADSL (www.myadsl.co.za) stated that the UTC does work with the IP Trick.

Section 5
-=-=-=-=-

The installation process is pretty simple. Run the installed and following the instructions. Then run the exe file.

In order for iConnect to work, you need to apply an IP Address to the iBurst Lan interface. This needs to be done regardless of whether you are running your UTD through the Ethernet Interface or USB Interface.

* Go to you network connections. Start -> Right Click "My Network Places" -> Left Click Properties (OR)
Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections
* Look for a "Local Area Connection" with the Device Type "iBurst UTD".
* Go to the properties for this Local Area Connection and select TCP/IP.
* Set the IP Address to 192.168.250.11 with a Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0
* Now click OK and fire up iConnect!

Section 6
-=-=-=-=-

Q : Why does the application take such a long time to start?
A : It's the time it takes for the program to connect to the UTD and read the first line of data. Unfortunately, I have no way of making it run any faster.

Q : Can I run iConnect all the time?
A : Yes, but I been told that it can take up to 20% off your internet connection speed due to the overhead imposed by the application.

Q : If I have a problem / bug / complaint / suggestion who do I email?
A : sweetsmoke1@gmail.com

Section 7
-=-=-=-=-

This is a quick how to for the iConnect application.
After starting the application, you can right click on the iConnect Panel and select "Configuration". Here you can set your area, the update times for the ping test and tower check, and what website you would like to ping for the latency test.

The tower area currently scrolls through all the available towers and displays them as it goes along. The next version will have an area to display the strongest signal strength from a tower, then the other area will scroll through all the towers your UTD/UTC can see.
