UIBK software deployment framework Files

This software deployment framework has been used for years at the University of
Innsbruck to supply scientific computing software to our users. It has been
successfully applied on all of our local HPC (High Performance Computing)
infrastructure (LEO1-LEO3), as well as on collaborative systems, jointly
operated with other Universities (supercomputer MACH at the Johannes Kepler
University, Linz). 

The framework is also in use at the Vienna Scientific Cluster 3, the largest
HPC system in Austria.

The framework consists of two parts, USIF and UMEA:
- USIF (University of Innsbruck Software Installation Framework) provides a set
	of scripts and utilities for systematic installation procedures for the HPC
	system administration.
- UMEA (University of Innsbruck Modules Environment Addon) is an add-on to the
	environment modules package (currently only applicable to version 3.2.6)
	which intends to simplify the deployment of software (from the system
	administration point of view), as well as provide a more cohesive look and
	feel for the user of HPC software.
