On windows 7 (32b and 64b), I could import remote HID devices and the class driver would be installed automatically. However, while testing Guita hero and usb storage device, windows 7 always failed to install the driver for the exported usb device automatically after the remote device being imported using usbip.exe  (no problem if Guita was plugged in locally).  Exported Guita Hero's Guita kinda worked after I installed the xbox360 and HID game controller drivers manually from device manager.

I noticed that in linux, the program refers to a USB IDS file /usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids. Do we need a similar file under Windows for it to associate the drivers with given PID/VID of remote usb devices?
