Description

The pre-release testing of the various 408k release candidates surfaced many edge cases related to directed messaging. We have since fixed all of them, but to further de-risk the release we will proceed with the directed messaging rollout in two stages. The release rolling out now contains all the fixes necessary for reliable operation. 408k-1 will enable automatic directed messaging migration on all ships.

To start the migration immediately you can use the command

Note that ships that were previously on pre-release versions of 408k will continue to use directed messaging and migrating new peers to directed messaging.

Ford lightning, the compiler speed improvements and other fixes are of course immediately available.
