Description in this file only applies to single user version of Uniwits Online Reservation Module.
Step - 0, Preparation
---------------------
Check that your site has a 64-bit CPU, if not, please consult your system administrator to see if can change a host. As nowadays, 64-bit servers are prevalent, it is expected that it should not cause a big problem.
Check permission settings in Apache configuration. Specifically, FollowSymLinks must be allowed, as URL rewrite is necessary.
Before installing this module, please make sure that the Uniwits Login Module has been installed. If still not, you can get it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ulm/ .
Step - 1, Upload
----------------
Upload the whole directory in the package to your website. For example, it is uploaded to
/yourhomedir/reserv/
In /yourhomedir/reserv/ make sure that the following files are writable by the module:
config.common.inc.php
config.locals.inc.php
The simplest way is to change their permission to 666.
Step - 2, Install
-----------------
Suppose the uploaded directory corresponds to the following URL:
http://yourdomain.com/reserv/
Then access this URL using your browser, and follow the guidence.
Step - 3, Make A Link
---------------------
Now you need to make a link to the reservation module so that your customer can find your information. You can also use the make button tool to make reservation buttons.
Step - 4, Finish
----------------
Installation is finished. You must delete the "install" directory before your can use the software. The program will try to delete the directory automatically. But in case it fails, you must delete it manually.
