Please read the install notes below to get started. ***************************************************** PRE-Install configuration ***************************************************** Please ensure you have the following: Server Side/ web server -SQL Server or MySQL installed on a server -IIS (5 or >) -no testing has been done on older versions -Parent paths enabled (See below how to configure the application if you do not have this enabled) If you are unsure and only have an FTP account then it may pay to ask your web hosting company. Client side requirements: -To edit and maintain projects you will require IE 5.5 or higher or Firefox, I will be working on Opera/ Safari support soon, but not in a hurry as it mostly works with these. All files go under the root directory of your web server or website: Some common names of folders used by web hosts or IIS are: -wwwroot -htdocs -httpdocs -public_html -html If unsure ask your web host or an IIS knowledgable person. You wil be automatically made to go to an install page ***************************************************** Some common errors -REMOVING ERRORS ***************************************************** Ensure permissions are set on database folders using IIS group or IIS User in Windows security. Ensure that the IIS group of users has Full control of this directory.
