This release we officially abandon Citrix until a time that Citrix releases a Debian 13 compatible client, instead of keeping the Debian 13 editions as a pre-release. This decision was made since months later Citrix still did not release Debian 13 support (The upcoming release also does not list Debian 13 as supported) and none of the UFTC users reported that they use Citrix. By dropping Citrix support for the forseable future we can give a better RDP and driver experience and solely focus on Debian 13 as a base.
If your organisation uses Citrix you can continue to use release 1.11.
Changelog:
- Additional security measure that logs out the user account if X crashes. On the old releases no such crashes have been observed, this addition is to further harden the OS in case it does happen on faulty hardware.
- (Citrix is now officially unsupported rather than a known issue)
- Moonlight support was added in form of a small single file binary. It will not be accessible or visible unless manually setup as a server address similar to how Citrix worked.
ISO: A more traditional installer using clonezilla for those who prefer a premade install medium instead of relying on disk cloning software. Also can be used for PXE deploying and image capture. 7z: VHD + Manuals, you can customize it in a VM and then deploy it your way (For example with Rescuezilla or to a portable USB with Rufus)
