Congratulations Spacex(ew), you made my day. First of all I'm happy to see that TweakOS is not a dead project. I have looked at your website several times, but there have been no changes and also in the local BL forum you were suddenly completely disappeared. So my impression. TweakOS is debian pure OOTB and I love it. Fast, easygoing and stable, not bloated with additional features except those you expect. OK, I don't like the theming 100%, I like DeadBeeF and Xfburn better than LXMusic and Simpleburn, but that can be completely changed. IMHO the Application Finder is superfluous, but it is useful for all who are new with Openbox and a #!-derivative. All in all, a successful distribution and exactly what I was looking for.

Although Tweakos is a new distribution, it seems to me fairly stable and useful. I did not experience any problems during installation and use. He uses the system at a very minimal level. In long use, performance and performance do not fall in video and games, performance is very good. I have been very pleased with the distribution of Tweakos as someone who has been using Debian stable for years. I thank the developer and expect to continue on Tweakos stable...

Downloaded "tweakos-sketch-alpha1-amd64.hybrid.iso" (1.1 GB) and burned to a 2 GB USB with Rufus and did a graphical install to a HD partition 10 GB ext4 and 2 GB swap. Nothing new or unusual during install, after reboot OPENBOX desktop opened with "WELCOME" window to make choices: update, libreoffice, printing, programming and dist-upgrade I did update and dist-upgrade (390 MB) download, and declined all the others. Once all finished, it was an interesting mix of things from Openbox (desktop), LXDE (Lxmusic,etc...) and XFCE(Thunar,Appfinder,etc...) Huge Chrome (200MB)+VLC (80 MB) was included (why?), but there wasn't any email. So it was time to TWEAK: removed Chrome, VLC and added PaleMoon web browser, Icedove mail, and Clementine player (12 MB). Used "bleachbit" to remove few hundred MB localization files, and also made bleutooth work (not installed) Openbox was easily replaced a more user friendly small & fast XFCE4 metapackage. Considered also LXDE, but it's plugin selection in panel was much less. Without LibreOffice and printer support the system used about 3 GB HD space. Would be nice to have a "remastersys" type of backup, to save system to an ISO file. This is a good solid "base" Debian distro for those who like to TWEAK Looking forward to try out any new versions, but please keep it small (700-900 MB)
