This folder will hold any information pertaining to the Timisoara Swirl Generator (TSG) case. Any improvements to these setups are welcomed. - stl-v1.tgz - Greg Burgreen - 2022.03.18 STL files for the TSG geometry components. - mgen-esi_2106-v1.tgz - Greg Burgreen - 2022.03.18 A snappyHexMesh setup for the TSG. This generates component meshes with a few skewed faces. The mesh generation goal here was a final mesh of minimal cells. - cfd-v2112-v1.tgz - Greg Burgreen - 2022.03.18 A complete TSG case setup for OF-v2112. Steady laminar & k-e turbulence solutions are computed well. Using the steady turbulence solution to initialize the pimpleFoam unsteady has k-e issues in the first few time steps. Any pointers here would be very helpful. - cfd-esi_v2112-v2.tgz - Greg Burgreen - 2022.03.19 The turbulence model was changed to kOmegaSST, and the stability is much improved. For unsteady time integration, an asymmetric swirl now begins to form in the outlet duct.
