Install TradeAnalyzer

Download latest version from Sourceforge and unzip the download package

Install MetaTrader4-Connector

Copy the MetaTrader4-Connector <tradeanalyzer-home>/connectors/TradeAnalyzer_MT4_Connector.ex4 in your Metatrader4 directory <metatrader4-home>/MQL4/Scripts/

Start Metatrader 4

Open the navigator in MetaTrader4 find the MetaTrader4-Connector in the scripts and start the connector

The connector creates an connector-export-directory (<metatrader4-home>/MQL4/Files/tradeanalyzer/)

Update TradeAnalyzer

Download latest version from Sourceforge and unzip the download package

Copy all files from <tradeanalyzer-old-version-home>/database/ to <tradeanalyzer-new-version-home>/database/

Copy all files from <tradeanalyzer-old-version-home>/config/ to <tradeanalyzer-new-version-home>/config/

Copy the latest connector for your tradingplatform <tradeanalyzer-new-version-home>/connectors/ in your tradingplatform directory

Start TradeAnalyzer on Windows

Just run <tradeanalyzer-home>/TradeAnalyzer.bat

Start TradeAnalyzer on Linux

Just run <tradeanalyzer-home>/TradeAnalyzer.sh

Create database

Start the TradeAnalyzer and open Database -> New database

Input a database name and save

Connect to database via Menu Database -> Connect Database

Configure import

Start the TradeAnalyzer and open Import -> Edit import configuration

Input the path to the connector-export-directory and save (<metatrader4-home>/MQL4/Files/tradeanalyzer/)

Activate the import via Menu Import -> Import
