Update in place. torlnk update brings any install to the latest release: a git checkout pulls and rebuilds, a global install goes through npm, and any running --daemon comes back on the new code. --force redeploys even when already current.
Know when it's time. When a newer release is out, the splash shows one quiet line pointing at the command. It checks in the background, never blocks launch, and TORLINK_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1 turns it off.
Tracker prompt. Pasted trackers stay visible while you edit, and the prompt shows how many are saved.
Steady layout. Long names keep the logo intact and the footer on a single row.
