Torflix for Android TV
Browse what the swarm is watching, press Play on the remote, and it streams. The whole torrent engine runs on the TV box itself: no computer, no server, no account.
Pick the APK for your TV's processor:
| File | For |
|---|---|
torflix-0.3.0-armeabi-v7a.apk |
most TV boxes and sticks (32-bit ARM; many 64-bit chips run 32-bit Android) |
torflix-0.3.0-arm64-v8a.apk |
TVs and boxes running 64-bit ARM Android |
torflix-0.3.0-x86_64.apk |
the Android TV emulator |
Needs Android 7.0 or newer. Install it with a downloader app on the TV, or from a computer with adb install -r torflix-0.3.0-armeabi-v7a.apk. The README has both ways step by step. From now on, Torflix updates itself from this repository's releases.
- Browse laid out like a streaming service: Continue watching, Top 10 films and series on the swarm, new films and series of the year, 4K, complete seasons.
- A page for every title: overview, cast, ratings, seasons and episodes, every copy on the swarm, Resume and Play from start.
- Play starts fast: a title page gets its first choice ready while you read it, and the TV's player opens the moment Play is pressed.
- The TV's own player (Media3 ExoPlayer), with subtitles from the torrent. Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD and DTS sound plays even on boxes that give apps no decoder for it.
- Made for the remote: white-framed focus, rows that slide, every move answers in about a tenth of a second.
