TITAN2D is a software for simulating dry granular avalanche flows over natural terrians expressed by DEM. Titan2d-mod (titan2d 3.1.1) is a version modified as of 2016.03.14 to the open version 3.0.0 (2011) on the web of GMFG of University at Buffalo.

User Reviews

  • The code is a modification of the open souce code titan2d (version titan3.0.0, 2011) of GMFG of University at Buffalo. Compared with titan 3.0.0, it implements a non-hydrostatic shallow granular flow model in a global Cartesian coordinate system, suitable for steep slopes.
