Time Ephemerides Files

This subdirectory of the Time Ephemerides Project file distribution contains data releases for time ephemerides generated by the te_gen software that is distributed by the Time Ephemerides Project.  These results use well-documented ascii and binary formats that are suitable for planetary, time, and (in principle) asteroid ephemerides.  These formats are necessarily different from the traditional JPL ascii and binary formats for planetary ephemerides because those traditional formats are too limited to store time or asteroid ephemeris data.  Because of these new formats manipulating (e.g., converting from ascii to binary form) and interpolating (i.e., providing results at a given time from the binary form of a time ephemeris) these results presently requires the use of ephcom software which is distributed by the Time Ephemerides project.
