Pingus0.7.6, a puzzle game about guiding penguins to safety, packaged for Ubuntu22.04 or later on x86-64. Extract the helper and run start-pingus.sh. Requires X11 or XWayland and normal desktop graphics and audio. Native settings and tutorial progress stay in ~/.pingus outside the installation.
The original Ubuntu game binary and data are unmodified. The wrapper uses the game's existing data-location option and bundled runtime paths. Original game, artwork, music and library notices and licence terms are included. The companion archive contains complete corresponding sources, original packaging and build instructions for bundled software.
These exact files passed independent source, rights and native runtime checks, including a fresh-home first tutorial completion with all10penguins saved, access to the next tutorial, progress restored after restart, and normal quit. Audio was captured through a virtual route, not physical speakers. No full campaign, physical fullscreen or Windows test is claimed. Catalogue activation is checked separately.
