BlockOut II 2.5, a 3D falling-block puzzle, packaged for Ubuntu 22.04 or later on x86-64. Extract the helper and run start-blockout2.sh. Requires X11 or XWayland and a working OpenGL driver. Scores and settings stay in ~/.bl2 outside the installation.
Game and data are GPL-2.0-or-later. The companion source archive includes the original source, patches, build instructions and complete sources for bundled libraries. Copyright notices and licences are included. The only game build change preserves the original support for bundled data instead of a fixed system path.
These exact files passed independent source, rights and runtime checks, including a byte-identical source rebuild, play, saved scores and restart. Audio was captured through a virtual audio route, not tested on physical speakers. No Windows support or online-score submission is claimed. Tidycade catalogue activation has separate checks and is not part of this component release.
