Thumbnail Generator Files

If you need to generate thumbnails or to create resized images you can use this easy to use app.

1. Double click on Thumbnails_v1.2.jar file
2. Browse through and select image files that are to be resized.
3. Set the percentage to which the files are to be resized.
4. Select the quality for the resized images.
5. Have the files saved to Thumbnail_Pictures folder created into the Thumbnails.jar file  folder.

Note: If you are not able to run the file by double clicking, open command prompt and type: 
"java -jar Thumbnails_v1.2.jar" (without ")

Updates in this version:
1. User can select from three levels of quality for the resized images.
2. Added support to be compatible with Unix based operating systems with java installed. (tested on Ubuntu 10.10)
3. Clicking on the author tag opens the homepage in the default browser.
4. Clicking on the email tag opens the default mail browser to let the user send a mail to the author right away.
5. Clicking on the learn more tag on the quality selection window shows the detailed info about the choices.
6. Other miscellaneous updates.

Updates in previous version:
1. The preview shows the complete image now. You can disable the preview anytime during the resizing process.
2. After the resizing process is complete, confirmation box appears. Also the resized images are shown in browser
   window once the resizing is complete.

You can control the processing by clicking on stop at anytime and also re-run the program without quitting the program.
