TextExtractor is a program that extracts plain text from PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .XLSX and a large 
number of other file types.

TextExtractor is available in two forms.

	1. 	A JAR file for use with a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.8 or higher. This is in package TextExtractor.zip.
	   	Unzip the file TextExtractor.zip into a suitable, writable location, such as C:/SCHSoftware/TextExtractor100.
	   	Be sure to unzip the program in a location you have full write access to.
	   	Launch the JAR file by running the program called RunTextExtractor.bat
		   	
	   	If you wish to amend the JRE stack size, initial_heap or maximum_heap size settings, then edit the file 
	   	called RunTextExtractor.bat to set them to your preferred values.
	   	
	2. 	An executable setup file called TextExtractor-setup.exe. This does not require the use of a JRE.
	   	To install, double click on the setup file. Be sure to install the program in a	location you 
	   	have full write access to. By default, the installer chooses the C:/SCHSoftware/TextExtractor100 directory. 
   		This should be fine, but if in doubt redirect to a known writable area.
		Launch the program by running program called TextExtractor.exe

There are some pre-requisites to successfully using TextExtractor :-

	3.  TextExtractor requires 

	*   512Mb Minimum Ram (higher for larger data volumes).

	*   100Mb Free disk space (higher for larger data volumes).

	*   For JAR File - A Windows environment that can accesses a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) at version 1.8 or higher.
	
	*   For executable File - A Windows environment.

	*   For best results, use a 17 inch screen, or bigger.
