TeXnicCenter is a LaTeX editor on Windows. Navigating LaTeX documents is simple due to the automatically created document outline. Errors of the LaTeX compilation can be reviewed instantly. TXC features autocompletion and comes with LaTeX templates.

    Corrupted file. Does not download fully, only a portion e.g. 1.2MB or 6.9MB instead of 12MB.

    For me was the spell checker not so effective.

    Over a year since the last release and it is looking more and more like the TexNicCenter website is little more than an advertisement for BaKoMa TeX. Started using Kile - at least it is under active development.

    It is not updated. It is not compatible with new versions of Miktex.

    I find lack of utf8 support as a great disadvantage
