The following operating systems are supported: Microsoft Windows® XP (x86/x64) Microsoft Windows® 2003 (x86/x64) Microsoft Windows® Vista (x86) Microsoft Windows® 2008 (x86) Microsoft Windows® 7 (x86) The support for x64 operating systems is limited starting from Windows® Vista due to the lack of digitally signed drivers. All features requiring a device driver (for example directly mounting a volume which has been found) will fail unless you sign the driver on your own. The following packages are required to run TestCrypt: Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (included in Windows® Vista or newer) Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) Version History V00_04_00 - Added support for TrueCrypt header format 3 (for example used by TrueCrypt 5.1a): recovering the data from a volume using this header format is only possible if the header of the normal volume is alive; the much more robust header of a hidden volume does not contain enough information for recovery. - Added graphical partition overview of selected HDD in partition analyzer. - Improved the analyzer performance significantly (about 300%). V00_03_00 - Possible TrueCrypt volumes found by the analyzer can be directly mounted read-only in TestCrypt without the need to create a new partition by using the context menu. - Implemented the custom analyzer which allows the free definition of scan ranges for the analyzer. - Some further small bugfixes. V00_02_02 - Fixed issue which caused some TrueCrypt volumes not to be found by the analyzer when using the hidden volume password. - Fixed wrong partition boundaries reported by TestCrypt when using the hidden volume password. - Some further small bugfixes. V00_02_01 - Added an error message which will be shown if TestCrypt has crashed. V00_02_00 - The first public release of TestCrypt.
