Hi I have been using telos for 3 days It so was nice when it had the floating design across the desktop in the previous versions How can I install it ? but apart that I had to download steam that was not preinstalled Great system keep up the great work !!!

It is a great idea and has a lot of promise. The criticism is that installation to a hard drive is based on some very poorly written directions about manually partitioning said drive and the installation of the Chrome Browser is also a bit vague. So it is a good distribution poorly packaged for users .

Ahora que puedo escribir la review (porque antes no se podía) la escribo. De todas las distros que he probado en lo que va de anho es de las peores (y yo soy de los que pruebo todo lo que se mueve). Para poner una valoración más detallada tendría que acordarme de lo que vi, pero así a golpe pronto: usar un navegador privativo, en su versión beta y que además está en el inicio automático. Yo te mandaba a varear olivos.

The marriage of KDE and Gnome seems unique :), don't remember having seen this union before, even though lot of kde based distros have some gtk apps and dependencies. The animated background though uses lot of CPU and memory and keeps the fan running throughout the time it was enabled. The moment it was changed to static wallpaper the resource usage went down and the fan went back to normalcy. Hard dependency on some of the vlc libraries. Trying to remove vlc* indicated plasma will be removed as well so had to cherry pick what to remove. Similar thing happened with another app as well. Mem usage was 1.2GB + on live env, have to install and see if it drops down to < 500MB as advertised. Would be interesting to see how well it shapes up in future.

Interesting project. I was a little bit lost when I realized I was connected in a browser at start ... Not evident that a newcomer would find out how to reach the "install" icon on the desktop. My old laptop was slowingly moving in molasse until I discover that the "animated background" totally killed its performance. After switching background to an image that switch each 15 minutes, it was fine. I suggest that you put the README document on the desktop so we can find easily what are the passwords to proceed to installation. I have to play with it a little more to get familiar with the applications. I have looked at kodi but find it not very usefull since there is nothing configured in it and I'm not familiar enough to make anything usefull with it. This is a nice project and I wish it continue to evolve in the future. Good luck! Regards, BT

Runing in a Acer aspire laptop (2nd Gen CPU) fine, everything is functional, KDE plasma never was my favorite DE but i can give it a try with this Distro, which is easy to use, the preinstalled Apps are just fine to begin. Live Wallpaper is beauty so, i'll give 4 Stars. Good Job
