Installation:
-------------
The TCO-Tool is based on Java 6 (or later)
1. The zip does not contain any Java Setup (to remain plattform independent)
2. Make sure you have Java SE installed on your computer (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html)
3. The hereby included plugins work only if the whole zip is extracted to a folder according to the given structure within the zip!
4. Doubleclick the TcoTool.jar and check the "sample" directory (or use "Start.bat" alternatively")
5. Please consider the User-manual for further questions, which comes as a separate download
6. Use the forum to ask any questions about the TCO-Tool
Remarks:
- to check whether you have java installed or not, type "java -version" in a command shell
Problems with Java SE 7
- Dialogs might be shown behind the main frame (which is fine with Java SE 6)
- To force the TCO-Tool to be started with Java 6 adapt the given "Start.bat" to your settings
