This new version is based on Debian Wheezy 7.5 and contains a collection of the best open-source applications available for audio creation. Thanks to all who helped with making up this news ISOs! (especially Jérémy R. and those who tested the ~rc1 ISOs and reporting bugs) d°_°b Release 2.2 d°_°b ISOs: * Updated Debian base to Wheezy 7.5 Kernel: * Updated kernel to 3.2.57-realtime Desktop Environment: * Add quick search filter for synaptic * Add ntpdate to fix computer clocks accurate * Add infos about audio and video files via the properties of caja * Fix to open shellscript with pluma * Add support to kill session with ctrl alt backspace * Updated TS menu with new apps * Add an basic documentation about TS for yelp Base Audio: * Updated JACK2 and FFADO to the latest debian version * JACK2 support now OPUS codec to netjack2 Applications: * Updated LV2 support libs to their most recent versions * Add news plugins LV2 (drumgizmo, fomp, x42-plugins and zam-plugins) * Add news apps (luppp and nootka) * Ardour3 is now installed by default instead of ardour2 * Specimen is replaced by petri-foo (fork version) * Updating the set of audio software d°_°b Initial Release 2.1~rc1 d°_°b ISOs: * Live DVD for try or install the distribution * Graphical debian installer included * Only english language available on live mode Kernel: * 3.2.51-realtime * i386 ISO use a realtime PAE kernel Desktop Environment: * MATE 1.4.2 (fork of GNOME 2) + Tango Studio Desktop Base Audio: * Only ALSA and JACK2 are installed * JACK2 is configured to be used directly in realtime mode with Ladish or Qjackctl * A loopback soundcard (snd-aloop module) is actived by default * PATH for all plugins have been added to the bash Applications: * More than one hundred Audio applications and plugins are installed * Multiarch support is actived for ISO amd64 Warning: The ISOs contains packages non-free.
