  • Does not install on Windows 10. Error: "Couldn't create directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\TaglibHandler\': This object is not allowed to be opened in a transaction." I was trying to install on Windows Sandbox so that may be the trouble. (VirusTotal reported one malware detection) It appears that it does not work for image files (.jpg) which is what I was looking for. Specifically, cannot search JPEG Comments (not Windows comment but the file header comment that the JPEG format provides).
  • Works!
  • The exe installer works fine on Win 8.1 too.
  • Useful, but : - Reported track duration is wrong when it exceeds about 7'10" (flac, ogg. OK with mp3 and m4a). The reported duration is the actual duration minus 7'10". Example : a 8'45" track is reported as lasting 1'35"... - Does not display ALBUMARTIST tag of flac tracks. - Does not display ENCODED BY tag of flac, ogg and m4a tracks. Configuration: Windows 7 Pro SP1 32-bit Flac encoder 1.3.1 OggVorbis encoder 2.87 Libvorbis 1.3.5 Foobar 2000 1.3.8 with Winamp 5.6.6.3516 Fhg encoder
  • Nice! On Windows 7 32 bit, works great after install then reboot. Length column for flac's is now populated. Thanks!
  • Seems to not work under Windows 8 x64: after installation, the viewing of properties of any file analysed by TagLibPH causes Windows Explorer to crash and restart. I used to depend on this extension on Windows 7 for search etc. Any chance of an update, especially considering the new versions of TagLib? Thanks!
  • Beautiful. I am very impressed. Why can't all software be like this. The handler installed and integrated with windows explorer and the indexing service seamlessly. Very elegant. I can now search within my music folders containing flac files. Works under Win7 32bit. I can confirm the problem under Win8 64bit reported by bingomaster
  • Finally, I get FLAC tags within file's properties - pure awesomeness! :)
  • Works like a charm under Windows 7 !
